Samsung New 50MP Camera Sensor and Smallest Pixels
Samsung has once again pushed its boundaries with an image sensor of the smallest pixel size in the industry. It still has a powerful performance. Samsung has officially announced its world’s smallest, 50 MP smartphone sensor. They have named this sensor ISOCELL JN1. Smallest 50 MP Sensor The main reason to be the smallest, 50 MP sensor is that it is only 0.64-micrometer pixel size. However, the bigger pixel size is better than the smaller pixel size. Samsung is relying on software algorithms like ISO 2.0. It is a smart ISO technology, and it doubles your power. To sum up, the software is pixel binning four to one. In other words, it comes with Tetrapixel technology. As a result, it allows the sensor to take12.5 MP images with a pixel size of 1.28-micrometer. It merges the four adjacent 0.64-micrometer pixels into one big 1.28-micrometer pixel. The size of the ISOCELL JN1 sensor is just 0.64-micrometer, and the sensor is ½.76 type. It also has real-time HDR features. It has the p...
